Precot Meridian net profit declines 54.37% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 5.62% to Rs 188.77 crore

Net profit of Precot Meridian declined 54.37% to Rs 4.59 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 10.06 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 5.62% to Rs 188.77 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 178.72 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit rose 47.17% to Rs 30.45 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 20.69 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 9.31% to Rs 720.29 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 658.97 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
