Prism Cement standalone net profit declines 0.02% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales decline 5.80% to Rs 1438.87 crore

Net profit of Prism Cement declined 0.02% to Rs 61.88 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 61.89 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales declined 5.80% to Rs 1438.87 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 1527.53 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit declined 43.13% to Rs 8.36 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 14.70 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 0.91% to Rs 5520.93 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 5571.81 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
