Ramco Industries reported 39.66% rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 50.60 crore on 0.49% fall in total income to Rs 243.67 crore in Q2 September 2019 over Q2 September 2018.
The announcement was made after market hours yesterday, 30 October 2019.
The scrip was currently trading 2.26% higher at Rs 191.95. The stock has traded in the range of Rs 190 and Rs 193.25 so far during the day.
Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 169 points or 0.42% to 40,220.83.
On the BSE, 610 shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 2,365 shares in the past two weeks.
The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 241.4 on 02 January 2019. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 160 on 06 August 2019.
Ramco Industries manufactures fiber cement (FC) sheets and calcium silicate boards (CSBs). The company's segments are building products, textile and power generation from wind mills.
