Turnover on NSE's F&O segment rises

The Nifty July 2017 futures traded at 9,647.20, at a premium of 9.60 points over Nifty's closing of 9,637.60 in the cash market.

Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 4.70 lakh crore from turnover of Rs 4.22 lakh crore registered yesterday, 4 July 2017.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index rose 24.30 points or 0.25% to settle at 9,637.60, its highest closing level since 20 June 2017.

Indiabulls Real Estate, Reliance Industries (RIL), Vedanta, Tata Steel and DLF were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. Indiabulls Real Estate July 2017 futures traded at 210.50, at a premium compared with spot closing of 209.10.

RIL July 2017 futures traded at 1432.80, at a discount from spot closing of 1440.05. Vedanta July 2017 futures traded at 262.15, at a premium over spot closing of 261.80. Tata Steel July 2017 futures traded at 541.80, at a discount from spot closing of 550.30. DLF July 2017 futures traded at 198.15, at a premium compared with spot closing of 197.

The July 2017 F&O contracts will expire on 27 July 2017.
