Net profit of Rural Electrification Corporation rose 24.09% to Rs 1191.70 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 960.34 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 23.76% to Rs 4396.16 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 3552.24 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.For the full year,net profit rose 22.69% to Rs 4683.70 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 3817.62 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 26.45% to Rs 16806.39 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 13290.95 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
