Shoppers Stop net profit declines 46.64% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 18.11% to Rs 727.91 crore

Net profit of Shoppers Stop declined 46.64% to Rs 8.10 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 15.18 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 18.11% to Rs 727.91 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 616.31 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit declined 5.54% to Rs 37.00 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 39.17 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 20.42% to Rs 2680.67 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 2226.13 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
