Net profit of Southern Petrochemicals Industries Corporation declined 92.33% to Rs 1.56 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 20.35 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales declined 12.77% to Rs 422.96 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 484.87 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.For the full year,net profit rose 40.82% to Rs 24.77 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 17.59 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 12.25% to Rs 1828.15 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 2083.44 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
