Steel Authority of India net profit declines 71.68% in the March 2013 quarter
Capital MarketNet profit of Steel Authority of India declined 71.68% to Rs 446.53 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 1576.98 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012. Sales declined 9.22% to Rs 12162.49 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 13397.17 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012.
For the Audited full year,net profit declined 38.74% to Rs 2170.35 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 3542.72 crore during the previous year ended March 2012. Sales declined 3.71% to Rs 43961.05 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 45654.03 crore during the previous year ended March 2012.
