Stride Arcolab leads gainers in 'A' group

Pharmaceutical company Stride Arcolab jumped 13.03% to Rs 526.70 after the company announced before trading hours today, 25 April 2014, that its manufacturing facility in Bangalore has been approved by the US health regulator after a successful audit of the plant. The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 559.20 in intraday today, 25 April 2014. The stock topped the gainers in the BSE's 'A' group.

Agrochemicals maker UPL spurted 7.26% to Rs 230.40 after consolidated net profit rose 29.41% to Rs 360.28 crore on 18.54% increase in total income to Rs 3365.23 crore in Q4 March 2014 over Q4 March 2013. The announced the results during trading hours today, 25 April 2014. The stock hit a record high of Rs 233.45 in intraday today, 25 April 2014. The stock was third biggest gainer in 'A' group.

State-run Container Corporation of India climbed 6.32% to Rs 1023.30. The stock was fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group. The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 1,036.95 in intraday today, 25 April 2014.

Yes Bank rose 6% to Rs 468.05. The stock was fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group.
