Torrent Power gets High Court approval for scheme of amalgamation
On 13 August 2015
Torrent Power announced that pursuant to the hearing dated 13 August 2015, Hon'ble High Court of Gujarat, vide its Oral Judgement, has sanctioned the Composite Scheme of Amalgamation of Torrent Energy and Torrent Cables with Torrent Power and their respective shareholders and creditors under the provisions of Sections 391 to 394 of the Companies Act, 1956.A certified copy of the Order is awaited.
