Nifty January 2014 futures in premium
Nifty January 2014 futures were at 6344, at a premium of 5.05 points over spot closing of 6338.95. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 126676.35 crore from Rs 119643.77 crore on Friday, 21 January 2014.
Axis Bank January 2014 futures were at 1183.70, near spot closing of 1183.
L&T January 2014 futures were at 1010.80, near spot closing of 1008.35.
Tata Steel January 2014 futures were at 393.40, near spot closing of 392.85.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty rose 25.15 points or 0.40% to settle at 6,338.95, its highest closing level since 9 December 2013.
The January 2014 derivatives contracts expire on 30 January 2014.
