TV Today advances after HDFC MF hikes stake

TV Today Network gained 1.73% to Rs 302.75 after HDFC mutual fund increased its stake in the company by 2.10% to 9.247%.

HDFC mutual fund bought 12.52 lakh shares, or 2.10% stake, of TV Today Network on 12 September 2019 from the open market.

On the BSE, 2480 shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 6166 shares in the past one quarter. The stock hit a high of Rs 306 and a low of Rs 298 so far during the day.

The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 435.95 on 18 Sep 2018. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 237.2 on 21 Jun 2019.

On a consolidated basis, TV Today's net profit rose 27.4% to Rs 51.03 crore on a 30.5% increase in the net sales to Rs 246.13 crore in Q1 June 2019 over Q1 June 2018.

The TV Today Network is an English-Hindi Indian news television network. It consists of news channels namely, Aaj Tak and India Today Television.
