Records total sale of 227,653 units
TVS Motor Company recorded total sales of 227,653 units in the month of August 2015 against 225,064 units in the month of August 2014; posting a growth of 1% over the same month of the previous year.Exports grew by 21% with sales increasing to 42,570 units in the month of August 2015 compared to 35,074 units in August 2014.
Total two wheeler sales increase to 216,781 units in August 2015 compared to 215,244 in August 2014. Scooter sales grew by 11% to 72,865 units while motorcycle sales grew by 6% to 87,044 units in August 2015 over August 2014.
Three wheeler sales grew 11% to 10,872 units in August 2015 compared to 9820 units in August 2014.
