Net loss of Uttam Galva Steels reported to Rs 1132.96 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against net profit of Rs 9.58 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales declined 15.77% to Rs 1724.87 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 2047.77 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net loss reported to Rs 1551.51 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against net profit of Rs 30.72 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 1.00% to Rs 6882.59 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 6952.13 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
