Vardhman Textiles consolidated net profit declines 10.02% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 8.90% to Rs 1608.46 crore

Net profit of Vardhman Textiles declined 10.02% to Rs 158.56 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 176.21 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 8.90% to Rs 1608.46 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 1476.98 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 59.69% to Rs 981.42 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 614.59 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 2.91% to Rs 6066.77 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 5895.28 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
