Videocon Industries announced that its subsidiary, Videocon Telecommunications (VTL) has on 17 March 2016 entered into an agreement with Bharti Airtel to transfer, at an aggregate consideration of Rs 4428 crore, rights to use 2 x 5 MHz spectrum in the 1800 MHz Band allotted to VTL by the GoI, Ministry of Communications & IT, Department of Telecommunications for six circles namely, Bihar; Gujarat; Haryana; Madhya Pradesh; UP (East) and UP (West).
