Vinati Organics rose 14.10% to Rs 1130 at 14:30 IST on BSE after net profit surged 106.66% to Rs 64.25 crore on 43.55% rise in revenue from operations to Rs 264.74 crore in Q1 June 2018 over Q1 June 2017.
The result was announced during trading hours today, 6 August 2018.Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 175.16 points, or 0.47% to 37,731.32.
On the BSE, 36,000 shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 1,409 shares in the past two weeks. The stock had hit a high of Rs 1141.80 so far during the day, which is also a record high for the counter. The stock had hit a low of Rs 993 so far during the day. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 760.05 on 28 February 2018.
