Volumes jump at Arora Fibres counter

Vipul, Era Infra Engineering, Mahindra Ugine Steel Company and ISGEC Heavy Engineering are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 5 September 2014.

Arora Fibres clocked volume of 74.12 lakh shares by 13:08 IST on BSE, a 2598.06-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 2,853 shares. The stock fell 3.19% at Rs 31.90.

Vipul notched up volume of 1.79 crore shares, a 263.24-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 68,000 shares. The stock gained 4.92% at Rs 20.25.

Era Infra Engineering saw volume of 55.59 lakh shares, a 18.93-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 2.94 lakh shares. The stock advanced 4.9% at Rs 18.20

Mahindra Ugine Steel Company clocked volume of 1.35 lakh shares, a 12.94-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 10,000 shares. The stock jumped 10.02% at Rs 475.25.

ISGEC Heavy Engineering saw volume of 33,000 shares, a 10.78-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 3,000 shares. The stock rose 1.62% at Rs 3,048.
