Volumes jump at Asahi India Glass counter

UltraTech Cement, Godrej Consumer Products, State Bank of India and BPCL are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 12 February 2014.

Asahi India Glass clocked volume of 21.66 lakh shares by 13:34 IST on BSE, a 648.85-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 3,000 shares. The stock surged 4.93% at Rs 44.70 after 0.8% equity changed hands in a bulk deal on BSE today, 12 February 2014. A bulk deal of 19.52 lakh shares was executed on Asahi India Glass counter at Rs 42 per share at 10:29 IST on BSE today, 12 February 2014.

UltraTech Cement notched up volume of 58,000 shares, a 15.47-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 4,000 shares. The stock rose 0.34% at Rs 1,705.

Godrej Consumer Products saw volume of 2.13 lakh shares, a 10.21-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 21,000 shares. The stock rose 0.56% at Rs 719.75.

State Bank of India clocked volume of 9.21 lakh shares, a 3.59-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 2.56 lakh shares. The stock rose 1.15% at Rs 1,536.

BPCL saw volume of 2.11 lakh shares, a 3.33-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 64,000 shares. The stock rose 2.73% at Rs 369.25.
