Volumes jump at FDC counter

Lumax Industries, International Paper APPM, Zandu Realty, and Atul are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 20 August 2014.

FDC clocked volume of 53.03 lakh shares by 13:45 IST on BSE, a 133.74-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 40,000 shares. The stock spurted 12.29% at Rs 153.90.

Lumax Industries notched up volume of 5.45 lakh shares, a 101.13-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 5,000 shares. The stock jumped 9.86% at Rs 418.

International Paper APPM saw volume of 3.17 lakh shares, a 9.44-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 34,000 shares. The stock rose 3.55% at Rs 304.50.

Zandu Realty clocked volume of 29,000 shares, a 8.88-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 3,000 shares. The stock surged 7.72% at Rs 1,802.

Atul saw volume of 1.10 lakh shares, a 6.33-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 17,000 shares. The stock jumped 6.57% at Rs 1,401.90.
