Volumes jump at Future Retail counter

Bajaj Electricals, Sanghvi Movers, Gruh Finance and Pidilite Industries are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 23 September 2015.

Future Retail clocked volume of 25.55 lakh shares by 13:46 IST on BSE, a 120.45 times surge over two-week average daily volume of 57,000 shares. The stock rose 1.6% at Rs 120.50. A bulk deal of 15.26 lakh shares was executed on the counter at Rs 119.70 per share at 09:55 IST on BSE today, 23 September 2015.

Bajaj Electricals notched up volume of 6.88 lakh shares, a 24.20-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 28,000 shares. The stock shed 0.04% at Rs 250.15.

Sanghvi Movers saw volume of 2.03 lakh shares, a 19.95-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 10,000 shares. The stock advanced 2.65% at Rs 321.10

Gruh Finance clocked volume of 5.09 lakh shares, a 13.88-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 37,000 shares. The stock rose 1.54% at Rs 257.

Pidilite Industries saw volume of 2.35 lakh shares, a 7.77-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 30,000 shares. The stock rose 0.57% at Rs 556.
