Volumes jump at Gujarat Industries Power Company counter

Sandesh, Redington (India), Godrej Consumer Products, and Dr Reddy's Laboratories are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 8 October 2014.

Gujarat Industries Power Company clocked volume of 20.38 lakh shares by 13:45 IST on BSE, a 136.95-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 15,000 shares. The stock was unchanged at Rs 83.10.

Sandesh notched up volume of 1.03 lakh shares, a 33.13-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 3,000 shares. The stock spurted 13.76% at Rs 498.25.

Redington (India) saw volume of 9.54 lakh shares, a 12.63-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 76,000 shares. The stock lost 3.07% at Rs 94.60.

Godrej Consumer Products clocked volume of 72,000 shares, a 4.75-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 15,000 shares. The stock lost 0.48% at Rs 992.05.

Dr Reddy's Laboratories saw volume of 53,000 shares, a 2.38-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 22,000 shares. The stock declined 3.19% at Rs 3,000.
