Volumes jump at Hathway Cable and Datacom counter

ABB India, Godrej Consumer Products, Gillette India and MPS are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 18 February 2014.

Hathway Cable and Datacom clocked volume of 5.78 lakh shares by 13:43 IST on BSE, a 410.02-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 1,000 shares. The stock fell 1.04% to Rs 252.05.

ABB India notched up volume of 4.66 lakh shares, a 33.94-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 14,000 shares. The stock surged 11.14% to Rs 656.85 after net profit surged 249.37% to Rs 58.59 crore on 5.72% rise in total income to Rs 2204.56 crore in Q4 December 2013 over Q4 December 2012. The result was announced during market hours today, 18 February 2014.

Godrej Consumer Products saw volume of 11.55 lakh shares, a 32.46-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 36,000 shares. The stock rose 1.23% to Rs 759.

Gillette India clocked volume of 32,000 shares, a 25.33-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1,000 shares. The stock fell 0.41% to Rs 1,966.60.

MPS saw volume of 1.67 lakh shares, a 14.04-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 12,000 shares. The stock surged 11.95% to Rs 333.
