Volumes jump at Hindustan Media Ventures counter

Hindustan Media Ventures clocked volume of 3.54 lakh shares by 12:27 IST on BSE, a 162.16-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 2,000 shares. The stock rose 0.81% to Rs 161.
Sequent Scientific notched up volume of 4.40 lakh shares, a 32.07-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 14,000 shares. The stock rose 3.27% to Rs 380.
ING Vysya Bank saw volume of 1.61 lakh shares, a 26.92-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 6,000 shares. The stock fell 1.01% to Rs 632.05.
Venus Remedies clocked volume of 3.41 lakh shares, a 10.20-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 33,000 shares. The stock rose 12.71% to Rs 290.35.
Great Eastern Shipping Company saw volume of 2.77 lakh shares, a 8.34-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 33,000 shares. The stock rose 1.67% to Rs 369.
