Indraprastha Gas clocked volume of 2.9 lakh shares by 13:30 IST on BSE, a 8.29 times surge over two-week average daily volume of 0.35 lakh shares. The stock dropped 2.06% to Rs 413.90.
Bajaj Finance clocked volume of 0.23 lakh shares, a 6.55 times surge over two-week average daily volume of 0.03 lakh shares. The stock rose 0.92% to Rs 2612.70.
Asian Paints saw volume of 3.56 lakh shares, a 3.79 times surge over two-week average daily volume of 0.94 lakh shares. The stock fell 1.14% to Rs 639.90.
Punjab National Bank saw volume of 4.13 lakh shares, a 3.5 times surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.18 lakh shares. The stock declined 3.44% to Rs 923.50. The bank' net profit rose 13.81% to Rs 575.34 crore on 11.92% rise in total income to Rs 13020.46 crore in Q2 September 2014 over Q2 September 2013. The Q2 result was announced during market hours today, 21 October 2014.
Kalyani Steels notched up volume of 6.24 lakh shares, a 3.21 times surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.95 lakh shares. The stock jumped 7.06% to Rs 154.75. The stock extended Monday's 6.21% rally triggered by declaring strong Q2 result. Kalyani Steels' net profit jumped 92.4% to Rs 22.78 crore on 27.6% rise in net sales to Rs 314.74 crore in Q2 September 2014 over Q2 September 2013.
