Volumes jump at Jagran Prakashan counter

Suzlon Energy, Sequent Scientific, Kaveri Seed Company, and MT Educare are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 1 October 2014.

Jagran Prakashan clocked volume of 5.02 lakh shares by 13:40 IST on BSE, a 36.02-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 14,000 shares. The stock rose 1.9% at Rs 125.90.

Suzlon Energy notched up volume of 3.31 crore shares, a 27.57-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 12.03 lakh shares. The stock surged 4.71% at Rs 13.56.

Sequent Scientific saw volume of 4.08 lakh shares, a 22.46-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 18,000 shares. The stock lost 2.5% at Rs 469.

Kaveri Seed Company clocked volume of 2.87 lakh shares, a 8.28-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 35,000 shares. The stock surged 5.95% at Rs 861.35.

MT Educare saw volume of 3.80 lakh shares, a 7.41-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 51,000 shares. The stock jumped 6.79% at Rs 148.60.
