Volumes jump at Kirloskar Industries counter

Wheels India, Strides Arcolab, Apollo Tyres and Patidar Buildcon are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 25 March 2014.

Kirloskar Industries clocked volume of 5.32 lakh shares by 13:59 IST on BSE, a 1028.73-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 517 shares. The stock surged 9.39% at Rs 298.90.

Wheels India notched up volume of 1.39 lakh shares, a 32.32-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 4,000 shares. The stock declined 7.7% at Rs 464.70.

Strides Arcolab saw volume of 3.10 lakh shares, a 10.46-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 30,000 shares. The stock surged 3.64% at Rs 378.35.

Apollo Tyres clocked volume of 50.31 lakh shares, a 8.31-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 6.06 lakh shares. The stock jumped 6.01% at Rs 157.

Patidar Buildcon saw volume of 3.87 lakh shares, a 7.72-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 50,000 shares. The stock was locked at 10% lower circuit at Rs 234.55.
