KSK Energy Ventures clocked volume of 13.75 lakh shares by 12:30 IST on BSE, a 263.19-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 5,000 shares. The stock fell 1.75% to Rs 67.25.
Rasoya Proteins notched up volume of 88.65 lakh shares, a 192.24-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 46,000 shares. The stock rose 4.70% to Rs 6.46.
CMC saw volume of 79,000 shares, a 17.55-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 4,000 shares. The stock fell 13.51% to Rs 1,892 after the board of directors of CMC and TCS have approved the scheme of amalgamation of CMC with TCS. The company made this announcement after market hours on Thursday, 16 October 2014.
Page Industries clocked volume of 9,000 shares, a 4.59-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 2,000 shares. The stock fell 0.88% to Rs 9,081.50.
HCL Technologies saw volume of 1.72 lakh shares, a 4.12-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 42,000 shares. The stock fell 8.76% to Rs 1,511 after net profit rose 2.1% to Rs 1873 crore on 3.7% increase in revenues to Rs 8735 crore in Q1 September 2014 over Q4 June 2014. The result was announced before trading hours today, 17 October 2014.
