Volumes jump at Linde India counter

Bharat Forge, ACC, Yes Bank and CRISIL are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 24 July 2013.

Linde India clocked volume of 3.63 lakh shares by 13:40 IST on BSE, a 128.93-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 3,000 shares. The stock lost 0.13% at Rs 268.

Bharat Forge notched up volume of 4.58 lakh shares, a 28.37-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 16,000 shares. The stock lost 1.41% at Rs 220.

ACC saw volume of 1.45 lakh shares, a 10.64-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 14,000 shares. The stock lost 1.63% at Rs 1,225.20.

Yes Bank clocked volume of 32.25 lakh shares, a 5.35-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 6.02 lakh shares. The stock tumbled 12.59% to Rs 383.50.

Yes Bank's net profit surged 38.15% to Rs 400.84 crore on 30.6% growth in total income to Rs 2839.97 crore in Q1 June 2013 over Q1 June 2012. The Q1 result was announced during trading hours today, 24 July 2013.

CRISIL saw volume of 1.68 lakh shares, a 4.38-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 38,000 shares. The stock lost 0.24% at Rs 1,185.
