Volumes jump at Prestige Estates Projects counter

Prestige Estates Projects clocked volume of 6.10 lakh shares by 13:44 IST on BSE, a 14.47-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 42,000 shares. The stock lost 1.7% at Rs 130.

Bajaj Corp notched up volume of 2.71 lakh shares, a 13.44-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 20,000 shares. The stock rose 2.39% to Rs 250.25.

Info Edge (India) saw volume of 4.17 lakh shares, a 9.11-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 46,000 shares. The stock lost 2.92% at Rs 307.60.

Bajaj Auto clocked volume of 1.35 lakh shares, a 7.5-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 18,000 shares. The stock surged 4.03% to Rs 1,973.65 after net profit rose 3% to Rs 738 crore on 1% growth in total income to Rs 50879 crore in Q1 June 2013 over Q1 June 2012. The result was announced during trading hours today, 19 July 2013.

TCS saw volume of 5.20 lakh shares, a 4-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 1.30 lakh shares. The stock surged 5.18% to Rs 1,746.10 after consolidated net profit rose 5.9% to Rs 3831 crore on 9.5% growth in revenue to Rs 17987 crore in Q1 June 2013 over Q4 March 2013. The Q1 result was announced after trading hours on Thursday, 18 July 2013.
