Volumes jump at Prism Cement counter

Shree Cement, HT Media, ICRA, and Century Plyboards (India) are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 9 June 2014.

Prism Cement clocked volume of 1.37 crore shares by 13:43 IST on BSE, a 26.13-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 5.27 lakh shares. The stock surged 6.6% at Rs 75.10.

Shree Cement notched up volume of 16,000 shares, a 21.15-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1,000 shares. The stock rose 1.97% at Rs 7777.85.

HT Media saw volume of 8.20 lakh shares, a 17.72-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 46,000 shares. The stock rose 1.13% at Rs 116.10.

ICRA clocked volume of 95,000 shares, a 10.51-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 9,000 shares. The stock lost 0.27% at Rs 2343.80.

Century Plyboards (India) saw volume of 24.44 lakh shares, a 7.36-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 3.32 lakh shares. The stock rose 3.84% at Rs 68.90.
