Volumes jump at Transpek Industry counter

RPG Life Sciences, Aksharchem (India), M&M Financial Services and Bodal Chemicals are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 6 April 2016.

Transpek Industry clocked volume of 2.92 lakh shares by 13:55 IST on BSE, a 31.31 times surge over two-week average daily volume of 9,000 shares. The stock jumped 7.18% at Rs 421.

RPG Life Sciences notched up volume of 1.97 lakh shares, a 12.18-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 16,000 shares. The stock surged 12.42% at Rs 262.50 after the company said that it has received good manufacturing practice (GMP) certificate from Bavarian Authority, a competent authority in Germany, as per EUGMP standards for its formulation manufacturing facility at GIDC Industrial Estate, Ankleshwar, Gujarat.. The announcement was made after market hours yesterday, 5 April 2016.

Aksharchem (India) saw volume of 10.27 lakh shares, a 11.03-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 93,000 shares. The stock galloped 12.7% at Rs 220.

M&M Financial Services clocked volume of 5.27 lakh shares, a 5.07-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.04 lakh shares. The stock declined 1.87% at Rs 233.30.

Bodal Chemicals saw volume of 20.16 lakh shares, a 4.22-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 4.78 lakh shares. The stock gained 5.37% at Rs 84.40.
