United Breweries clocked volume of 88,000 shares by 13:33 IST on BSE, a 4.49-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 20,000 shares. The stock jumped 6.1% at Rs 907.50.
Essar Oil notched up volume of 8.05 lakh shares, a 2.9-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 2.78 lakh shares. The stock jumped 9.48% at Rs 191.75.
Rolta India saw volume of 5.79 lakh shares, a 2.56-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 2.26 lakh shares. The stock surged 7.95% at Rs 103.90.
Torrent Power clocked volume of 4.81 lakh shares, a 2.53-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.90 lakh shares. The stock fell 2.3% at Rs 150.70.
Torrent Pharmaceuticals saw volume of 45,000 shares, a 1.95-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 23,000 shares. The stock rose 0.78% at Rs 1,618.50.
