Whirlpool of India standalone net profit rises 22.69% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 12.37% to Rs 1000.19 crore

Net profit of Whirlpool of India rose 22.69% to Rs 67.81 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 55.27 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 12.37% to Rs 1000.19 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 890.08 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 17.51% to Rs 247.38 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 210.51 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 6.80% to Rs 4016.66 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 3760.88 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
