Zel Jewellers net profit declines 62.50% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 37.64% to Rs 6.18 crore

Net profit of Zel Jewellers declined 62.50% to Rs 0.09 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 0.24 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 37.64% to Rs 6.18 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 4.49 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit rose 13.89% to Rs 0.41 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 0.36 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 39.83% to Rs 22.89 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 16.37 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
