Zenotech Lab slumps after registering as a sick industrial company with BIFR

Zenotech Laboratories was locked at 5% lower circuit to Rs 39.35 at 15:25 IST on BSE after the company registered as a sick industrial company with Board for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction.

Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was down 532.47 points, or 2.03%, to 25,660.51.

On BSE, so far 6,350 shares were traded in the counter, compared with an average volume of 8,402 shares in the past one quarter.

The stock hit a high of Rs 43.45, The stock was locked at a low of Rs 39.35 so far during the day. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 22.20 on 27 November 2014. The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 71.25 on 17 April 2015.

The small-cap pharma company has an equity capital of Rs 34.43 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.

Zenotech Laboratories reported net loss of Rs 5.12 crore in Q1 June 2015 compared with net loss of Rs 4.78 crore in Q1 June 2014. Total income dropped 47% to Rs 0.80 crore in Q1 June 2015 over Q1 June 2014.
