Police in Bihar's Munger district on Wednesday seized one AK-47 rifle during a search operation and arrested two people in connection with it, police said.
Deputy Inspector General of Police Jitendar Mishra said a joint team of Bihar Police and the National Investigation Agency raided at a few places in Munger and seized one AK-47 rifle and arrested two people.
In the last five months, 22 AK-47 rifles have been seized and more than 30 people, including retired defence personnel and police officials, have been arrested.
All AK-47 rifles seized by the police in Munger were smuggled in from outside the state.
