At least 10 people were killed and over 25 injured when a tractor-trolley carrying a body for cremation fell into an open well in a Gujarat village on Saturday.
The incident occurred at Bhotwa-Gadh village in Mahisagar district.
Mahisagar District Superintendent of Police M.K. Amin said the tractor-trolley with 39 people was heading to the cremation ground in Gadh. It went out of the driver's control on a slope, falling into an open well.
The 25 injured people were rushed to two nearby hospitals. Police said the casualties might go up as the condition of some of the injured was serious.
