100-member FICCI delegation to go to Pakistan Friday

A 100-member delegation of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) will leave for Pakistan via the Attari-Wagah border Friday to participate in the "India Show' being organised in Lahore, said a spokesman.

The delegation, being led for the first time by a woman business leader - Jyotsana Suri, the chairperson of Bharat Hotels Limited and FICCI's senior vice president - will be part of the India Show being held in Lahore Feb 14 to 16.

The FICCI delegation's visit has been organised in partnership with the union commerce and industry ministry. The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) and Trade Development Authority of India (TDAP) are organizing the India Show in Lahore.

The delegation will cross over into Pakistan on foot from the Attari border, 30 km from Amritsar, Friday morning, the spokesman said.
