The Israeli military Tuesday said 11 Palestinians were detained in overnight raids across the West Bank.
The raids took place in the town of Baka al-Sharqiya, Nablus, and villages neighbouring the Palestinian cities of Ramallah and Tul Karm. Soldiers uncovered and confiscated an improvised weapon while arresting a man in Anza, southwest of Jenin, Xinhua reported citing the military.
All 11 detainees were suspected of involvement in "illegal activity" and handed over to security forces for interrogation, an army spokesman said.
Raids in the West Bank are routine, which were often coordinated in advance with Palestinian security forces.
