At least 12 schoolchildren were injured Friday afternoon when the Gramin Sewa vehicle they were travelling in turned turtle in west Delhi's Mangolpuri area.
The children, studying in a government school, were returning home.
The accident occurred when the driver took a sudden turn in an attempt to save a cow that had suddenly come before the vehicle, police said.
The injured were rushed to a hospital from where they were discharged after being administered first aid.
Gramin Sewa is a shared auto service that runs in some areas of Delhi.
