At least 13 people were killed and 40 others wounded in two bomb attacks in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad Monday evening, a police source said.

A car bomb went off near a parking garage in Shaab district of Baghdad in the evening, leaving 12 people killed and 32 others wounded. Toll could rise, the source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.

Also in the Shaab district, a civilian was killed and eight others injured when a bomb exploded inside a small bus, the source added.
