16 children saved as van catches fire
A major tragedy was averted in Godda in Jharkhand as a Maruti van carrying 16 school children caught fire on Monday, police said.
The children, from St Thomas School, were rescued hurriedly by people in the neighbourhood.
The van was reportedly running without permission of the authorities and it was 20 years old, a police officer said.
