'1971: Beyond Borders' physically demanding for Allu Sirish

Actor Allu Sirish has completed shooting for upcoming Malayalam war drama "1971: Beyond Borders". He says the experience so far has been physically demanding but at the same time very cherishing.

"Wrapped up first schedule of 1971'. Physically demanding! Learnt so much about the army, war and history. An experience I'll always cherish," Sirish wrote on his Twitter page on Wednesday.

In the film directed by Major Ravi, Sirish plays a tank commander.

Calling soldiers the real heroes, he wrote, "Our country owes our jawans a lot. Extreme weather, minimum resources, no personal life. Yet they're so determined and selfless. Real heroes."

Malayalam superstar Mohanlal is also part of the film.
