At least 20 Turkish football fans have been arrested for invading the pitch during Turkish Super League clash between bitter rivals Galatasaray and Besiktas.
Turkish Interior Minister Muammer Guler announced Wednesday that Turkish police have arrested 20 fans and are still looking for 20 others involved in the incident, reports Xinhua.
The fans invaded the pitch and threw seats at the police during the dying minutes of the game Sunday between Galatasaray and Besiktas, known as the Istanbul derby. With Besiktas trailing 1-2, the game was abandoned.
