Seven people, among them two children, were killed on Thursday when the car in which they were travelling collided with an oncoming truck in this district of Madhya Pradesh, a police officer said.
Those killed were in a wedding party and travelling in a car from Indore district to Rajgarh district, J.P. Chokse, in-charge of Tonk Khurd police station in Dewas, told IANS.
While overtaking a truck on Dewas-Maksi road, their car collided with another truck coming from the opposite direction, he said.
The accident resulted in the death of two men, three women and two children on the spot, he said.
