A 22-year-old Irish biker went through an embarrassing seven-week erection after he straddled his bike's crossbar - the section between the seat and the handlebars.
The man was unable to have sex as his penis refused to come in normal shape, said a report published in Irish Independent.
Distressed, he decided to visit the Tallaght Hospital in County Dublin, Ireland.
The man, whose identity was not revealed, was diagnosed with priapism - a condition where blood flow to penis goes abnormally high, said the report appeared in the Irish Medical Journal.
According to the doctors, if untreated, it could have caused a dangerous blood clot in his penis.
Since the treatment, added the report, the man is now enjoying a satisfactory sex life.
