Director Anand L. Rai, who has donned the producer's hat for "Tanu Weds Manu 2", will also produce southern director Vetrimaaran's project as well as Navdeep Singh's next.
"Everything about the filmmaking process has always excited me and I'm thrilled to make my foray into production," Rai, who is currently working on the sequel to "Tanu Weds Manu", said a statement.
Rai carved a niche for himself by directing two hits - "Tanu Weds Manu" and "Raanjhanaa".
Details about Singh's film are still under wraps, except for the fact that it will be set in Canada.
Praising Singh, he said: "I loved Navdeep's work in 'Manorama Six Feet Under'. After watching it, I told myself that if I ever produce a film, I would get it directed by Navdeep. He came up with an interesting script a few days ago, and we decided to go ahead with the project."
Singh's next is "NH10"
