The AAP Sunday said it had no intention of forming a government again in Delhi with Congress support.

Responding to speculation that a section of AAP legislators wanted the party to take power again with Congress help, senior leader Manish Sisodia told IANS: "We won't from the government, come what may."

In a house of 70, the Aam Aadmi Party has 27 legislators and the Congress eight. The BJP has 31 legislators but three of them have now become MPs.

Delhi has been under President's rule since Feb 14 when AAP Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal resigned over his failure to pass the Jan Lokpal bill in the assembly.

The latest development follows the rout of the Congress in the Lok Sabha election in Delhi where all seven seats went to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The AAP finished second in all seven seats.

The BJP wants fresh elections in Delhi, a demand also voiced by the AAP.
