An Aam Aadmi Party volunteer committed suicide here Saturday morning, police said.
Arvind Malik, in his late 20s, shot himself with a pistol of one of his family members at his house in east Delhi's Jaffrabad area.
"He was rushed to the Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital where he was declared dead," said a police officer.
"No suicide note was recovered from the victim's possession. However, initial probe revealed he took the extreme step due to some family problem," said the officer.
